Our team is a dynamic, interdisciplinary group of climate scientists, archaeologists, ecologists, environmental managers, and social scientists from six leading universities and partners worldwide. Combining diverse expertise, we tackle challenges in climate resilience and sustainable agriculture. United by a passion for dryland ecosystems, we collaborate to explore innovative solutions for sustainable food systems in a changing climate.
We aim to enhance the resilience of dryland agriculture systems in the face of climate change. Dryland regions, covering 41% of the Earth’s land and supporting over two billion people, are highly vulnerable to climate variability. Through interdisciplinary research, we seek to understand past adaptations and develop sustainable strategies to secure food systems in these critical regions.
